Terms of Service
Refunds
Tickets are not refundable. Tickets grant access to the event itself, they do not include travel or lodging, unless explicitly stated on the ticket. Arranging travel and lodging is your own responsibility, as is cancelling travel and lodging in case you are not able to attend.
There is no 14-day right of withdrawal (Article VI.53, § 12 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law).
Transferring your Ticket
You can transfer your ticket to someone else up to two weeks before the event, through our ticketing provider, Ti.to. We can not assist you in transferring your ticket.
Cancellation
The organiser may decide to cancel the event for economic reasons or force majeur. In that case tickets purchased for the event will be fully refunded.
If a part of your ticket purchase, such as a workshop, needs to be cancelled, then that part of your ticket purchase will be refunded. You will not be refunded for the parts of the event that do proceed. Further claims against the organiser are not possible.
Changes to the programme, including but not limited to replacing a speaker, cancelling a talk (e.g. due to illness), replacing a workshop trainer with an adequate replacement, or cancelling a fringe activity, are at the discretion of the organiser, and in no event will give rise to a refund.
Prices
All prices include 21% Belgian VAT. This includes B2B intra-EU ticket purchases. (See EU 2006/112/EC subsection 4).
Photos, Videos, Quotes
We capture photographs and video throughout the event. By purchasing a ticket, you grant us the right to use this media—including on social media, our websites, and in promotional materials like sponsorship brochures.
At the event, we will offer an opt-out method: you can wear a specific colored lanyard to indicate that you prefer not to have your likeness shared publicly.
We will make a reasonable effort not to publish photos where these lanyards are clearly visible. When we do publish such images, we will blur the faces of the individuals wearing them.
This is a courtesy we extend to attendees, not a guarantee of exclusion.
